Echuca Bowls Club is an incorporated community sporting club at 201 Ogilvie Ave, Echuca VIC 3564, affiliated with Bowls Victoria. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and through club membership.

The club is run entirely by volunteers. Questions about this policy can be directed to the Secretary using the contact details at the end of this page.

We only collect information we actually need to run the club and to reply to you.

Contact form submissions are emailed to the relevant club office bearer so they can answer you, and are not used for marketing. Membership information is used to administer your membership, to select sides, and to meet our reporting obligations to Bowls Victoria and the Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields Bowls Region.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where it is necessary to run competitions or where we are required to by law.

Photographs taken at the club during bowls and social events may be published on this website, on our Facebook page or in club communications. If you would prefer not to appear in club photographs, let a Board member know and we will respect that.

This website is a static site hosted on Vercel. Contact form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and delivered by email to the club; they are not stored in a website database. Membership records are held by club office bearers.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your light or dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and never sent to us.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can — bearing in mind that everyone involved is a volunteer.
